Korean Art
If you’re looking for some good traditional Asian art, Insadong in Seoul is the place to go. There are tons of shops with everything from Korean paper lamps and paintings to inlaid boxes. Get off the Orange line at the Anguk stop.
For less traditional art, head to Hongdae on Saturdays. There’s a free art market with local artists selling many things. Last weeks market had hand-painted bags and hats, notebooks and jewelry to name a few. Good atmosphere and interesting items.
